Westminster City Save card holders can now visit the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Galleries at Westminster Abbey free of charge, courtesy of Open Westminster. This is in addition to free admission to the Abbey, saving you up to £25.
The Abbey is a place that's touched the lives of kings, queens, statesmen and soldiers, poets, priests, heroes and villains since 960AD. Westminster Abbey has been the coronation church since 1066 and is the resting place of more than 3,000 great Britons.
The medieval galleries tower high above the Abbey floor and display the greatest treasures of its 1,000-year history.
No need for tickets, just proof of your home address and your Westminster City Save card are required on admission. Please note that Westminster Abbey is open to visitors most days, but as a living working church it may be closed to the public at certain times. Please check the Abbey website.
Open Westminster is the charity of Cllr Angela Harvey, Past Lord Mayor of Westminster.
